You can find items you own in your inventory. You can also upgrade items you own in your inventory to earn more AGMs.

Upgrading a pickaxe will give you more mining speed, and upgrading a dwarf will give you more energy crystals, allowing you to mine for much longer. Both the dwarf and pickaxe can be upgraded up to level 10. There is a chance of unsuccessful improvement for a pickaxe or dwarf, check it out in the tables below.
